The beginnings of an epic, Metaphor of Silence narrates in ten eclectic sound paintings the experiences and developments of a being, from his early awareness to his maturity.

The pianist, composer & producer Gabriel Urgell Reyes delivers a singular and radical electroacoustic production, whose multiple interweaving reveals a wide variety of influences, ranging from 20th century classical music (Ligeti, Reich, Cage, Crumb...), the industrial electronic and experimental movements, to Cuban popular music.

Leitmotivs, musical forms mirroring, the pieces interact with each other building a storytelling in which we can follow a character and its various interactions with the world.
