Le Cercle des Amis de Gabriel Urgell Reyes is a non-profit association, founded in 2019 with the objective of expanding research and development in the field of contemporary artistic creation (music, visual arts, literature, etc.), as well as to ensure the support and promotion of artists and musical ensembles engaged in this direction.

Laboratory of ideas and achievements initiated by Gabriel Urgell Reyes, the association is keen to help structure, develop and restore an instrumentarium belonging to the field of musiques mixtes (acoustic and electronic), and to contribute to the enlargement and hybridization of aesthetics and practices of historical, and contemporary artistic works.

      

Aware of the challenges the contemporary world faces, it works alone or in partnership with other structures, to spread artistic knowledge to all audiences, ensuring cultural exchanges, promoting openness to diversity, and develops social engagement in particular through music and art workshops. The association also leads observation and reflection on the means of reducing the environmental impact of the musical and artistic productions it supports.
